Hey everybody.

My name’s Nate, and I started using TextFugu a few months ago. I made steady progress until Christmas break, by which point I had reached Season 5 or so. But I let it all slide over the break and haven’t studied since, partially because the massive amount of review I’d have to do was way too intimidating. So I’m starting over fresh. (Hopefully it’ll be faster now that I’ve done a bit before.)
Anyway, I’m studying Japanese to get ready for a semester abroad in Japan that I want to do in a year or so. I’ve also always wanted to learn the language and explore the culture, since my dad’s work brought my family into close contact with the people and culture of Japan while I was growing up.
Here’s hoping I can keep it up this time. :)
