Hello and dozo yoroshiku, everyone!

I’ve been using wanikani for a while and have done some self-studying with Japanese, but have finally decided to take the textfugu plunge. I’m looking forward to really digging into the language.

My main reason for learning Japanese is so that I can talk to my wife and her family in their native language. My wife speaks English, but her family and I can only communicate through her. I’d like to at least be semi-fluent so that I can carry on a basic conversation with them and feel confident about it.
