Hello everyone. My name is James, and I just got textfugu. Just wanted to say hi, and to share my reason for wanting to learn Japanese as lesson 1-3 says to do.
I have always been interested in Japanese culture and media. This love has led to me wanting to work and live there for at least a year or more. I graduate from college this April, and I plan on applying for the 2013 Jet Program. I hope to use the year I have before then to learn as much Japanese as I can.

Hi everyone! I am Jason, great to meet you. I want to learn Japanese because I want to be a mangaka and I have many friends in Japan. I have never been there and would like to possibly live or work there also I have always quit everything in life and I need discipline and patience.

Hey everyone! I’m Sydney! I got Textfugu because I have hit a giant wall in my self-teaching. I’m sure you’ve heard of it: the dreaded kanji! Anyways, I’m learning Japanese because I want to get accepted into Tokyo Kaiyo Daigaku for my masters in Marine Life Sciences. Wish me luck!
