Why do I want to learn Japanese? – I want to travel to Japan. I want to share my Christian faith with those who speak Japanese. I want to teach my future children about Japan; the language, people and culture.

I’ve been attracted to Japan since Sailor Moon was running episodes in the States when I was a kid. I’m just over 20 now – still love anime and the culture that I’ve learned about through it. I understand that media isn’t always the best at portraying real life in any culture and I want to learn more about the beauty to be found in Japan.
