Hello, I just bought Textfugu!
My wife and I are moving to Japan in a couple of months. We will be enrolling in language school, but I want all the help I can get.
I want to learn Japanese so that I can share the gospel and teach the Bible clearly in Japanese. We are moving to be missionaries and work with a church in Tokyo.

One of my best friends did exactly what you’re about to do! They worked at a church (outside Osaka I believe) and taught English. They speak fondly of their experience all the time.

This place is a wasteland :(Cool, I wonder if we know them. What are their names? We have several friends over there now.
Not likely. I think it was seven or more years ago they were over there. They’re part of the Olson family, so if you know that name you might know them :)
I’m not religious and didn’t ask much about it, at least insofar as the procedure for getting there. I assumed it was through an organization.
