    Hello, My name is JiN.
I have been trying to study the Japanese Language for years now with well … utter failure. :( This is because I had burned out quite fast on every other thing I have tried.

Tho a few months ago I found Textfugu by a accident actually. I was watching Japanese prank vids on youtube, when I clicked on one of Koichi’s videos. (he was joking about people trying to find quick ways to learn Japanese, like with out trying kinda thing.)He had a link to textfugu. I clicked on it did the few free lessons and WOW is all I could say when I finished them.

It had caught my attention, I felt like I was soaking up knowledge, and even more surprising it was fun.

The reason it took so long to finely sign up you might as (prob not lol)
is that I had taken up running a website and just didn’t have time with that and school.

But I the site no longer exists and now I finely have free time to start learning again.

    My goal is to,
1.Learn how to read and write in Hiragana everything ells after that dealing with Japanese text is a plus.

2.Be able to speak Japanese efficiently enough to visit Japan.

3.Be able to say I know Japanese :D

My biggest reason for wanting to learn Japanese is well … I am somewhat obsessed with East Japanese Culture! XD

Hiragana and Katakana is a great first step, although by itself not SO motivating, however once you notice you can read some things like food packets and basic things, you’ll start having a lot more fun.

    Anyway, welcome to textfugu!
