I’m sure the answer is buried somewhere, in the pile of bajillions of posts; but I was wondering if EtoEto is supposed to supplement TextFugu, or replace it entirely.

    Thanks for any info :)

Eventually, EtoEto is supposed to replace TextFugu, but TextFugu will be here to stay for at least one year. I heard that right now, EtoEto only has an advanced content section called Kuma. (Fugu and Kappa are supposed to come later.) When it’s in alpha and released to all TextFugu Forever members, EtoEto probably will be a supplement. Later, however, EtoEto will be a replacement for TextFugu, when TextFugu is gone.

I know I am new here, but I really hope that the creator of this wonderful website would publish the information in the Textfugu lessons as a PDF textbook for us members or something after Textfugu is obsolete.

It wouldn’t be hard to PDF it yourself. It would be time consuming, although one could PROBABLY write a crawler pretty quickly that would do the work for you. As to releasing it, there would be obvious legal complications and I certainly don’t advise it, but YOU would have it. And you could always run it by Koichi and say hey mind if I put this out in the world, and obviously give full credit. No guarantees but hey if it’s something you’re into, it wouldn’t hurt to ask.

I emailed him earlier regarding a PDF copy of TextFugu and he said that it’s not available now, but it may be available “someday.” After EtoEto is released?
