A bit late to the show, but perhaps I was just too shy for the last three weeks.

I’m a 30 year old Dutch guy aching to explore the rich and mysterious (and oft wacky) culture of the Japanese horde. It seems you need to know this fascinating language in order to do so, and so I set off to master it like I would an RPG. Currently halfway through level 4 and haven’t yet encountered any insurmountable boss-fights yet, though them Kanji-critters do sure take their toll. The loot I’m gathering is amazing, and I hope to soon up the difficulty level and play in the wild; perhaps watching a movie or two, or read some short stories.

Also, keeping it a secret for all my friends and family, in the hope of attaining that movie-effect in the future of casually striking up a conversation with a japanese person in the room while my friends/family figure out who took over my brain.
