Hello!
I’m a Canadian who is studying in UBC, residing in Singapore with family for the summer, and flying to Japan for a year for exchange. Needless to say I have always loved the Japanese Language (It probably started when I was working for a Japanese Accessory Store and heard these Japanese children speaking Japanese in their itty-bitty voices), hence the exchange is only an added incentive to start actually putting in some effort into learning Jap.
I have a couple other apps that I’ve been learning from, but I am so grateful to have chanced upon TextFugu. Your first season was great and I love the practicality and support that is given (i.e.: practices, simple pieces of advice, youtube aids). Simply awesome! The bits and pieces of added personal humor, keep me reading, which is great too! :D
In any case, I’m looking forward to learning as much as possible before I fly off. The thought of being able to read and recognize signs when I step out of the plane and into Narita airport is pretty darn exciting.
Thank you for providing this great resource!
Cheers,
Joy :)
