Hi guys :D Just wanted to say I finished season 2 a few minutes ago. Wow, it’s been a bit of a ride! But it gives me a kick when I can type in hiragana >_< To anyone else who’s still a newbie student like me, gambatte kudasai!
P.S. When your head’s spinning with kanji and you want to take a break, but not get out of Japan-mode, might I suggest reading something about Japanese life? What really got me through on the downtimes between study sessions was Prof. Cathy A. Davidson’s memoir, “36 Views of Mount Fuji: On Finding Myself in Japan”. Beautiful, simple writing + wonderful insights from an outsider’s POV on Japan and Japanese culture + quiet, moving moments of vulnerability from the author. A must-read!
