and oh God was I nervous. I’m sure the more I get used to receiving corrections and correcting entries the more open I’m going to be about it, but just posting that first entry and making a few basic corrections on English entries just got my stomach in a knot. Anyone else get that little bit of stage fright on Lang-8?

Yes first few times. Just don’t think of it as a thing you have to show to other people. Just think of it as a way to improve you Japanese.Yeah definitely. I was really nervous at first even to make corrections on English posts, but everyone on there has been so warm and welcoming that I’ve kind of gotten addicted to it. It’s hard to understand when I receive feedback in Japanese, but I like to take that as a challenge to learn even more beyond what I was originally writing. Lang-8 has easily become my favorite site.
If you get stuck with any corrections/feedback that are in Japanese, just post here and we’ll try and help you :)

Will do! I like to struggle with it on my own at first though. I find it helps me learn better if I go hunting for the answer myself :)
