I’ve just signed up to TextFugu!
My Japanese girlfriend and I recently got married and I want to learn the language so I can speak with her family. I’ve tried to learn ‘on-and-off’ since we’ve been together but not really stuck at it, I feel now is the time I took it seriously. Anyway, that’s my life story. :)

Yeah, being over there with her family made me realise how beneficial immersion is to the learning process. I’m trying to create a artificial Japanese atmosphere now I’m back in the UK.
