Hi, so I was reading this sentence and it’s somewhat confusing.
十は七じゃありません
In the textfugu audio it pronounced 七 as なな but shouldn’t it be pronounced as しち instead? Because I think I read somewhere you should use the on-yomi pronounciation instead when using numbers.

7 and 4 are exceptions and typically read as なな and よん.

Rather than “typically read as なな and よん”, it’s more that the readings for 7 and 4 tend to be fairly interchangeable.
