Howdy Y’all!!

I have been living in Okinawa for a couple of years now and after a visit to Tokyo I was overwhelmed with the inspiration to learn the language. I’ve always loved the culture, even since I was a kid.
I just finished the first season here on textfugu and decided to take the plunge and become a member!!
I want to learn Japanese so I can fully submerse myself in the culture and potentially work toward a career field that let’s me utilize my knowledge of the language.
