    Whaddup Textfugu?!

I have just finished season 4 of textfugu and am using this time to catch up and really master the rest of the 4 stroke kanji in addition to all the adjectives, adverbs, and verbs I’ve learned so far. I’ve just started using Lang-8 (which is really wonderful) but am already realizing there’s some big concepts I still don’t understand. I know from having learned Spanish that I didn’t really feel comfortable reading or writing so much in Spanish until I knew all the verb tenses (although I still practiced a lot). I’ve made it this far in only about 2-3 months of dedicated Japanese studying.

Any thoughts as to what to do?

Is there a light at the end of the tunnel that I’ll be reaching very soon?

Let me recommend a book called “Japanese Sentence Patterns for Effective Communication”. The book has a lot of cookie-cutter type sentences that will allow you to say just about anything you want, albeit in a very stilted way.
Also, check out this site for verb conjugations: http://ww8.tiki.ne.jp/~tmath/language/jpverbs/
