Not sure if I’m allowed to post this here but it is Japanese learning so I think I can…

My friend and I have setup a language round table that we hold once a week in the DFW area, right now we don’t really have anyone that shows up but we are looking to change that. If you live in the area and are interested in a gathering to help learn a language check out the meetup.

Hope to see some of you there.

I would recommend joining up to WaniKani. You can find the link on the dashboard here. A free trial account allows to access the first two levels, but you can continue to use the forums as much as you want, and there is a much larger community over there.

Already on the site and I really love it. Thanks for the advice though, much appreciated. Just thought I’d try on both sites to get to as many people as possible.

Sounds interesting but I’m all the way over in Scotland; I think the plane fairs would be a little expensive ;)

Fortunately for you, the original Dallas is in Scotland – you can just go there instead. =)

Did you find out about that from looking up Dallas Australia?

No, I found that out by looking up “Dallas, Scotland”. Because “Dallas” sounds rather like a Scottish place name.

That there also seems to be a Dallas in Australia was a complete coincidence.

Interesting, nice little fact to know. It stinks you live far, would be nice to have people there to learn and talk with.
