wasamin ranking 33rd made me happy. i thought yukirin would be 2nd though.
Yo congrats on your girl for being the center for Next Girls. Maybe we can expect an enka-themed song? /troll
I thought sasshi would take either 2nd or 3rd but I guess I was wrong. Looks like it was still to early for her.
Btw these are my thoughts:
-I though Sashihara Rino was gonna take 2nd or 3rd but she took 4th instead.
-I don’t feel anything about Mayuyu taking 2nd after Yukirin (3rd)
-And Yuko taking 1st was a given.
-I’m glad that Tomochin stayed 8th and didnt go down
-And I’m happy that Kasai actually ranked up.
There are so many SKE members that ranked (first time this many members have participated in one election)
-What surprised me the most is the AKB and SKE kenkyuusei that ranked. I have no idea who they are and they aren’t even on teams but they ranked rather high which is quite baffling to me. I want to know what they did to earn those spots. Btw, those kenkyuusei are Matsumura Kaori (SKE) and Tomu Mutou (AKB).
- I wish Nonaka Misato and Tanabu Miku could have ranked. They been with AKB since near the beginning, and have been 圏外 for 4 years in a row now.
- Hilary (Hirata Rina, AKBkks*) and Annin (Iriyama Anna, Team4) not ranking was expected
- Most of the radical changes occurred in the lower end ranking scale. Actually, I’m not too sure since I still don’t have a good grip about what just happened
When I was watching it, I was also very surprised to see BBQ(Matsumura Kaori) rank that high. I checked out her google plus, and turn out she does some pretty long videos, which might have something to do with it. I also have a picture somewhere with a wota with 500+ votes for her 0.o. I only started my interest in AKB this year, so honestly I haven’t go much clue about lower ranks, and knew almost none of the SKE members ranking(only 5 or so).
What impressed me was Milky’s position. She hasn’t ranked before and then took 19th? That is very impressive to me, and if she just keeps on what she is currently doing on google plus she is sure to get a lot more fans 0.o
Yui ranked 15th, not her goal, but she ranked up quite a bit and is senbatsu so I am extremely happy with the results :DI’m surprised that after two or three days Japanese news shows are still doing in depth coverage on it. I mean that’s impressive. I had no idea idols were so huge to people outside of Akiba.
Also, I was very amused by a morning show yesterday. I had recently tweeted that Japan should just give up and name itself Japan 48, and then a morning show explicitly said that the idols that ranked were JPN48.
I didn’t have access to a TV the night of the election, but wandered into a random “British” Japanese pub, and it was on the TV, and everyone was watching. I got there just in time to see 峯岸みなみ’s speech.
I’ve been to the AKB cafe a few times now, and I’ve gotten some of the collectable coasters. My wife, and I haven’t gotten any of our favorites, so we thought we’d share. If you have an oshimen or two just let me know, and if I have their coaster, or I get it later, I’ll mail it to you free of charge.

For Mark though, Yokoyama Yui is what he prefers and them Nanba girls. Though I don’t know if they offer NMB48 in the cafe…..
If you get a Senbatsu member, then it’d be a pretty good idea to keep it to yourself lol. That’s just what I would do though unless you really don’t mind giving them away.
Lol Missing… Didn’t you notice how he said 1-2 oshimen? xD I should just list off the entire teak K :p
As for my oshi, yes it is Yokoyama Yui :D

Watanabe Miyuki(NMB team N & AKB team B)
Matsui Jurina(SKE team S & AKB team K)
These members both aren’t part of AKB fully, so I doubt you can even get anything at the AKB cafe that relates to either of them. The AKB member I value the most after Yokayama Yui that is a full member of AKB has to be Iwata Karen(Team 4)

What a lovely new picture
The cafe is nice. It’s not a place I’d go for dinner as much for a quick snack, and a place to rest your feet. That’s largely because the portion sizes are small, but the food is tasty. I really like the mayonnaise pizza.
That said, if you’re looking for a good show while you eat I highly recommend the Back Stage Pass cafe on the top floor of the Akihabara Cultural Center. The girls will really spend a lot of time chatting with you, and they put on a live stage show. At one point a girl sang to me that I was her oshimen. It was kind of awesome. ;)
When will we see a reaction from sasshi? >.<

みなるんさんとホテルで泊まってたんだ。
んでみなるんさんは、
1時30分くらいに寝ちゃって。川栄は、寝ながら携帯いじってたのよ。

上の階からめっちゃ足音聞こえたのよ。
5分くらいだったかな。それを朝起きてみなるんさんに言ったら。
『えっ、ここ最上階だよ( ﾟдﾟ)』
って言われて。もう川栄凍りついたよね。
んでフロントの人にも『屋根裏部屋ありますか？』
とかめっちゃ聞いたんだけど『なんにもないです！』
って言われたんだ。
しかも屋上とかないホテルだったから。
ホントに最上階だったの。ネズミ？ゴキちゃん？
でもホントに人が歩いてる音だった(T_T)いや。あれか。ネコちゃんかっ！！
そうだ。きっとネコちゃんだよね。うん。

Also, I’ve been to the cafe more trying to get coasters to match your idols.

It is fine, I am just thankful that you actually give this offer :) As Missing says, please don’t go there only for our(my) fault! I am fine with getting nothing, so don’t worry about it.
