Hello all. My name is Donovan and I currently live in America. I am 14 years old and will be a freshman in High School later this year. I take a French class that counts as “French I”, so I will be able to start French II during my freshman year in High School. At first, I didn’t necessarily wanted to take French. Because I joined my current school after 1st year, it was forbidden that I could take Japanese. However, I met (very) close friends in my French class and am glad that things turned out the way it did. I guess you could call this “random good luck”.

For the past few months (7), I’ve been doing things such as listening to Japanese music and watching anime. I have a deep passion for Japan and always wanted to be accepted into Tokyo University, to study abroad in Japan. I love Japanese technology, their research, and theories.

Recently (the past ~15 days), I’ve been looking into TextFugu. With the money from my side-job, I had enough to pay for a few months of TextFugu. It was then I saw that there was a special. 50% off. Words can’t describe how I felt. Let’s just say I looked like this:

Of course I subscribed lifetime with a fraction of the money I saved up. I love how Japanese is pronounced and I consider it a challenge to learn kana. I would love to start French II as well as Japanese II during my freshman year. Indeed, I would call this “random good luck”. ありがとう~
