My name is Aura. I’ve been a textfugu member for several years but I never introduced myself here. In fact, shamefully, I didn’t end up using TextFugu and taking advantage of all it offers. If I had I’d probably be very fluent by now. 🤔

I’m here now. “Waves”

The main reason I’m learning Japanese is because I want to be communicate more effectively and efficiently with my long time boyfriend, who is Japanese,in Japanese. I want to speak with his family, friends and the important people in his life when we return.

I would also like to travel and visit temple sites, and other places and knowing the language well will help me get around easier as well as understand the culture even more.

Those are my reasons. I hope I’m successful.
