What happened to Sheepy/Winterpromise/Kaona?
It’s great to have all the new voices on here but I miss hearing about the progress of the old guard. Did you guys give up, move on, die off, or what?Well, Sheepy said he stopped learning Japanese a while a go.
Sheepy went to train himself mentally and physically in the mountains rather literally.
Kaona is dealing with school.
Cassandra is…..doing something.
Missing is here.

I’ve been in Michigan for over a month, helping take care of my husband’s family. My father in law has a pretty bad case of cancer. :( :( I’ll probably be here until the end of May and then I’ll be flying home.
My Japanese studies have been completely non-existent for the past six weeks, though I’ve started lurking around the forums the past couple days and loaded up Anki today for the first time in over a month. Eek. 2,636 reviews due.
I notified Koichi that I was going to be away for awhile but didn’t post anything on the forums. Sorry about that! I’ll try to check in more often. :)

Kyle – I’m in the very southwestern corner, near Berrien Springs/Berrien Center/Niles. It’s just north of South Bend, IN.
Yeah, it’s definitely weird not seeing that terrible trio not posting here daily any more :/ haha They – along with kyle and missing – were probably the most vocal members back when I started. Oh and Bbvoncrumb. And possibly somebody else I’m forgetting. I guess Koichi doesn’t check the forums much/at all any more, but at least Hashi pops in from time to time! :D
@Winter- Ah, southwest eh? I’m from the Flint area, never really been down to that area.
Near Detroit? I think that’s about 2.5 hours from me. I’m not terribly familiar with Michigan as I’ve only been here twice. I’m enjoying the spring, though! Much nicer than the Arizona HOT.
Michael – I’ll try to post more. :P I know you and a few other people have far surpassed my pathetic Japanese abilities but I’ll try to get back up to speed. lol

I am not dead and as missing said, I am busy with School and GCSE exams. I haven’t found much free time for anything else let alone the TextFugu forums – I do miss it here though. :(
I’m still seeing my Japanese tutor every Wednesday though and I’m currently doing a GCSE foundation course with her which is really helping a lot :) especially due to the fact I can’t find any time to self learn. I’m slowly getting back into anime and manga too.
During the Summer (as after my exams I’ve got my work experience and then a 2 week holiday to FLORIDA~) I’ll hopefully be way more active here. So yeah, I’m not dead – just really inactive. :P

Also Kaona, you don’t have to slowly get into anime and manga. For example, I have loads of manga (in Japanese) but that doesn’t mean I’m getting into it. Instead, you should just follow idols. You know, pledge your allegiance to them.
But on second thought, I’ll take that back for the sake of your school studies and stuff…
And my thoughts go to your family Cassandra.
