Good morning, early afternoon, noon, afternoon, evening, night, twilight, or whatever part of the day you find yourself in, my dearest Textonian Fugunites,

I have been absent from the TF forums and my Japanese study in general for most of the month of August, and haven’t done ANY of my TF work since about June. This has been a most unproductive month for me, as I’ve been ultra busy at work… slightly unequally producing a LOT. It’s almost as if I have limited time and resources. What is this? I was promised invincibility!!

I had my brother crashing here, for a time, within my habitat, which was quite disturbing to my tranquility and thus unsettling to my self-education stratagem. He has been out for nearly two weeks now but other life changes (namely my cross-border love-friend of the opposite gender) make my former study schedule impossible to maintain. So, a new agenda must be crafted and with it I shall RULE THE WORLD… Uh. I mean. I’m gonna study real hard.

…no, no, hide the lasers… what are you doing!?

Sorry. *ahem*

Anyway, for the new arrivals here, of which there seem to be many, my name is Justin, I’m made of carbon and I sometimes have thoughts in that squishy thing in my skull. I probably don’t know a lot of Japanese-specific things but I can generally answer technical questions for you if you have any. Otherwise, there are people here that actually are super awesome and know the answer to your language-particular queries. I suggest not doing what I did and giving up. It’s hard to get back in. And don’t let your brother live with you. And fall in love with somebody in your own country if you can. WAY easier.
