Hi guys, it’s been a long time since I joined a new forum, so I am a bit of a noob, but it’s lovely to see so many people here. I bought Textfugu a little while ago, and haven’t really had a chance to sit down with it til now, but every time I’ve seen the Fugu on Tofugu and Facebook, it’s like his little eyes have been asking ‘why haven’t you played with me yet’, and I can’t resist any longer. I aim to spend an hour or so a day going over my Japanese, and will ensure I stay motivated, perhaps by making ‘Textfugu time’ also ‘ice cream time’.

I don’t have any particular reason for learning, just a general interest in Japanese culture (children’s cartoons make me happy), and obviously I love noodles. I have been thinking lately that perhaps I could put it to use one day, by teaching English over there, or something like that.
