Hello everyone, I am passionate about Japanese culture and language and want to someday be able to understand more through understanding the language, so here I am signed up to self teach myself through Text Fugu as I am too busy to take classes. My passion started with my school trip to Japan where I witnessed first hand the profound beauty and depth of this culture and its history. Being of mixed asian and western decent, and living in a not as culturally rich north america, with parents raised here, I guess I was always looking for a culture that I related too and think I found it in the land of the rising sun. Wish me luck on my Japanese language journey, I will need lots of it I am sure as I am terrible at learning languages!
