“一人じゃありませんでた” doesn’t it translate into “it was not one person” instead of the the ” i was not alone” answer that is given ?
I meant:
一人じゃありませんでした
I think it’s because it can be “I was not one person” ie, I was not alone. Maybe? Not too sure.

Because 一人 also means “alone”? Simple enough :P
