Okay, so I have finally “mastered” hiragana, and I have moved on to the section where you create a vocab list of 20 words related to your passion. However, I have run into the problem that every word related to my passion (Computers) is in katakana. What would you do in my situation? I don’t want to learn the words in hiragana if they are wrong, but I need to continue with the lessons.

My husband’s passion is computers as well. I would suggest learning them in katakana. The extra katakana practice is great and you will need to learn those words to read articles/blog posts/etc about the computer world.

    Good luck with your list!

Sorry for the late reply. I decided to take your advice and start katakana. It is going pretty well so far. I imagine I should have it down by Friday :)
