    Hello, fellow 日本語 learners,

As I’m sure most others here can agree, I’ve finally decided to get serious about my studies and make this year the one where I stop “winging it” with my linguistic skills! :)

With that being said, a little about myself now. All of my friends know me as Luna. I’m a denizen of the Bay Area, and an avid Sailor Moon fan. I’ve taken formal language classes in high school and college, but I’m definitely more of a fan of self-study because of the fact that I feel you are pushing yourself to retain a working knowledge of the subject for life, not just a letter grade at the end of the day. I am hoping that in the near future I can take some time overseas with just my camera by my side, exploring everything Japan has to offer from a photographer’s perspective.

Looking forward to a fun (and challenging) time around here! =^^=
