Hi I’m Garrett. The reason I’m learning Japanese is that I’ve always thought it was a cool language. I want to be able to read Japanese books as well as go to Japan through an exchange program and be able to communicate. I was on and off about learning Japanese for a while as I lacked the motivation, but I put my best foot forward and here I am! I hope to have a great time studying here.

Hello
My name is Mike. I am learning Japanese because my girlfriend wants to go to grad school there. I would like to be able to function while we are there for at least two years. Even if that doesn’t pan out I’d still like to learn the language so I can visit there. I’m not quite sure what is feasible yet but if the grad school thing happens I’ll have a little less than a year and a half to learn. I hope to achieve an intermediate level of Japanese by then.
