Konnichiwa everyone,
I’m Gareth and I’ve just signed up to TextFugu in an attempt to remotivate myself into learning Japanese. I’m originally from Ireland, lived in Yokohama for a year, and am now working in Israel. There’s not a big Japanese community here in Israel so particularly good to meet anyone with Japanese connections here. I’m want to master Japanese so I can speak with my girlfriend’s family and also have a bit of pride in being able to communicate in another language.
