Greetings fellow Japanese-self-learners! my name as given me by birth is Maayan(pronounced-MA’A-ya-n) the Hebrew alternative word for water spring and I’m currently learning(correction:attempting to) Japanese as a third(fourth?) language alongside English and (occasionally) Arabic.
My two greatest passions are, drawing and learning about foreign cultures. as such, I want to learn Japanese so maybe one day I could publish my own manga series and ecquire my name as the first famous mangaka to come out of the middle east!-delusional dreams aside though, I’d really like to traval Japan and learn about it up close(visiting the 88 temples doesn’t sound such a bad idea)as well read and watch Japanese books, games and shows without needing trenslation. I had this nagging thought in me for some time now to try and pick up a new language to learn and Japanese seemed like a good choice at the time as I tend to watch anime. I actually hope to improve my English vocabulary as I go through learning Japanese- as I mostly learn from English resources-in addition to my rethar lacking formulation skills and spelling(although I’m not really sure how my awkward English wording can be helped with learning a diffrent language all entirely). ‘hope to have fun(and potentialy build a waythrough to my future career) and learm some interesting things.

Welcome! Apparently English, Arabic and Japanese are the three hardest languages to learn, and you already appear to have mastered to of them, so you’re off two a good start. =)

Kind of intrigued as to why there seems to be a small rush of people who are interested by the 88 Temples Pilgrimmage…
