Oh I also noticed the kanji page doesn’t have text next to the kanji. That was really helpful for doing a fast look up on the page. Is there any way we can get that back? I’m trying to look up kanji by name, and that’s slowing me down. :(
August 1, 2012 at 6:00 pm #33928A lot of the links on the lesson page seem to be messed up for me. They are seemingly linking to random lessons.
August 1, 2012 at 6:59 pm #33932Looks really nice, but a couple of links here and there are not working right for me.

Finally!
August 2, 2012 at 5:01 am #33959@Yggbert Yeah, the layout probably looks good on a phone, but the layout isn’t as nice on a PC anymore. A lot of website will have mobile style sheets, and normal style sheets to solve this problem. I would have liked to have seen that here, so PC users can still get the best possible UI.

Any chance we can get that back?”
Ditto.

If we’re throwing opinions about the contents page around, I miss the original with the wacky images next to each lesson. But really I’m cool with whatever – as long as I can get at the lessons I’m happy :)
August 2, 2012 at 7:42 am #33968A mobile version of TextFugu is bound to be launched at some point. I agree that having both versions of the site would be beneficial. These new changes aren’t even V3 of TF. This is 2.5 IIRC. I wonder if Koichi still plans to eventually ditch WordPress for something else?
August 2, 2012 at 9:25 am #33978Nice update. I like the new-ish look.
Looking forward to a new forum as well ;)
August 2, 2012 at 2:01 pm #33993Just a small issue in Season 2 Chapter 1, when I hit the link (How To Ask Questions In Japanese) it doesn’t go to the “Why?” page, it goes to the first section of the chapter. I tried this on my Mac as well as my iPad and it did the same. It’s not a major issue of course, just trying to be helpful!

Me three!
August 20, 2012 at 6:35 pm #34680@Darcy – I can’t agree with you more. It’s really slowed down my progress by a surprising amount. It also made me realize that I would love to have a Season/Chapter menu always present, on the left margin, of every Textfugu page. That way I can glance to the left, and see where I am.
Yeah, I agree with Darcy and hey.
Yeah, Darcy and hey are onto something.
Lets do what they suggested.
Good idea!
