In this new year, I’m beginning my Japanese studies afresh. I’ve gone through Season 4, maybe more, on Textfugu before. I think I was one of the first to buy the lifetime membership. I was one of the wanikani beta testers, and I’ve been “studying Japanese” for years now, still with little to show for it. I’m going to start over at the beginning of TextFugu, and make Japanese studies a part of my daily routine.
Beginning with Season 1 – These are the reasons I want to learn Japanese:
I want to be able to travel to Japan and speak/read their language.
I want to be able to play video games that aren’t released in the US.
I want to be able to read Japanese books and manga and watch Japanese movies (without subtitles).Welcome back!
I have to admit, I’ve been a little lax in my own studies of late…
