I can’t remember a single kanji for the life of me. Stuck on the 2-stroke kanji for lesson two, bottom of the page says I shouldn’t go on until I’ve memorized the 10 it provides me. Can’t. Like, I’ve been at this on anki for 4 hours to no avail. The only one I can remember is フランス人 because that’s the longest one on the list, allowing me to pick it out of the rest. The rest just blend together… help?

    Vocab or kanji?

My suggestion is that if Koichi’s suggested mnemonics aren’t doing it for you, try coming up with your own.

I finished all of the seasons of Textfugu over almost 2 years, doing anki almost every single day… THEN I found Wanikani. I should have been doing WaniKani along side Textfugu studies. WaniKani is practically the anki flash card system but three times better! I highly recommend it.

I’d recommend WaniKani as well. It starts off slowly, but picks up pace once you start learning.
