Can anyone explain me where is the restration button in wanikani page?
For now, it’s a beta, put your email on the front page (pink box) and you might (should ?) receive an invite for it. Did mine more than a year ago so I don’t know how quick it is now but I don’t remember waiting long for it, there might even had a deal for textfugu users (which I was back then) that might have made things faster.
I did this and got a message that it will be starting up in January. So what’s happening with the current users of WaniKani? Are the forums still open or what?
I joined at the beginning of October. I got the same message as you and then about 5-6 days later I got the invite, so by now you should have too.

They definitely need to redesign the homepage for new users and make it more clear.
You can sign in, if you go to textfugu dashboard.
I realize I’m kinda late, but the following information might help. I submitted a request for beta before I joined Textfugu and got login details within a couple of hours.
As Tobias stated, you can sign in through Textfugu also.
First two levels are free and the ones after are paid (can get a discount through the TextFugu homepage discount level though). It looks like the price may go up in January so you might want to start paying before then even if you don’t reach the paid levels.
