We need another general chat thread!
Had a great little discussion with a friend this afternoon. She helped me learn a new honorific form and she showed me this pretty great video.
Oh and in Japan you can buy a Hotdog from McDonalds for breakfast!

I slept on some futons in the back of my car at the post office on Saturday. I woke up before business hours so I probably didn’t freak out too many Japanese people. Then I drove to the other side of the prefecture for my weekly Japanese class. I learned nothing. There really needs to be something between beginner and intermediate. I guess I shouldn’t complain though since it’s free.

Just handed in my last assignment of my uni semester! In celebration I went and refilled my kimchi, natto etc supplies. I actually found some どらやき hiding behind the natto! So I grabbed one of those as well. Some sencha too.
Then afterwards I went to the ramen place next door. OMFG IT WAS SO GOOD IM GOING TOO DIEEEEEEEEEEEEEE (i literally had a ramen coma). So yeah, good vibes good vibes.

congrats sheepy-san (installing google ime at work atm), my favourite treat in japan was definately grape fanta (so much better than what we get here). if you like ramen then your pretty lucky as it was only like 400-600 yen at most places I found, I’m more of a tori katsu-don kinda guy which is more like 600-1000 yen :(

I assume it was a sticker for suggesting a mnemonic and not the general “give me your name and I’ll send a sticker” ones from a while back?Actually it is the general one from ages ago haha.
I got a little note with an apology on it. :3ever since I was a kid I’ve loved noodles and I’m a walking database of noodles lol
If I ever go to Japan, I will probably die of Ramen coma from overdosing on ramen, udon, somen, soba, chuukamen >_>
