Sacred bovine! My life has not been conducive to studying recently and it’s not bound to get better any time soon. I opened anki today for the first time since ? and have 800 reviews due. On the upside, I am reading some manga with relative ease.

23 days left in Japan.

After reading through this in order to find out why ゆうこす（菅本裕子）had suspended updating google plus, I decided to make a new deck for anki for all the vocab that is related to 2ch/idols. Most of the words I added are already fairly familiar, but I saw some new words that I want to remember, so I now made this new anki deck which was already long overdue due to the fact that I have been busy with core 2k until now.

Finished the first 2100 words of Core now, did the first step of Core 3000 on iKnow so getting there, started at the beginning of April with that site. 6000 finished by November seems plausible!

Wrapping up memorising the “Nouny Adverbs” on Season 4-Chapter 5. Aiming to get to Season 5 by next weekend so I can begin learning casual speech.

Study wise, I’m progressing through the ultimate decks and 7 stroke kanji. Slowed down a bit with going through the chapters in Textfugu because of that and other things though. Still, it’s all good.

I finished Learning Language Through Literature I. Some of the words used aren’t in the notes or the dictionary in the back, and it doesn’t have full furigana coverage. So it’s not ideal for bedtime reading.

Next up is a comic about Tokugawa Ieyasu. It’s part of a series on Japanese history featuring Doraemon. It doesn’t have any English notes or anything like that, but based on some quick browsing through it, it looks like it is intended for grade-school students, and there is full furigana coverage.

Finally finished those pesky “Nouny Adverbs” on Season 4-Chapter 5. Also added the example sentences on that page to a custom sentence deck in Anki.
