Hi guys! I’m hernytan, a student from Singapore.
My interest in Japan and the Japanese language has always existed, especially because a lot of my friends also learn Japanese as a third language over here (I chose French, for numerous reasons)
After a recent school trip to Japan, my interest in Japanese was finally piqued greatly, and I finally decided that it was time I learnt Japanese.
Why?
Firstly, mainly to expand my knowledge base. You never know when knowing Japanese can come in handy, especially if you need to help a Japanese person in an emergency
Secondly, I want to be able to at least attempt a simple conversation in Japanese with my friends
Thirdly, I also would like to be able to understand untranslated Japanese manga and games somewhat(this is probably a tall order, but it would be a major boon)
I’ve tried out this site, and it seems useful, so I decided to buy the course! Wish me luck, no, determination to finish this!
ps. Does the Anki Deck work for Anki 1.28 as well? I haven’t tried it yet so I’m not sure, but I would like to sync it with my mobile version, and the mobile version hasn’t been upgraded to Anki 2 yet
