So during my study, I had to translate the question ‘What are you doing? into japanese.
I said: なにをしていますか？
But instead the answer was: 何をしているんですか?
What’s the difference here? By now I’ve learned that there can be three ways of saying the same thing in this language lol. But I’d at least like to know how they might translate these small differences.
