Hello everyone!
Seeing as one of the first tasks of TextFugu is to introduce yourself, I might as well hop onto the wagon and do so. It’s sad to see that the forums aren’t so active anymore.
So yeah, I’m a young highschool student hoping to study in Japan as an exchange student in a year or two, after having been in Tokyo while on vacation I felt like the country was really something for me! The culture, the people, the language! It’s all very exciting, and I’m hoping to be shipped off to study there soon enough! That’s my reason for learning Japanese, haha. Maybe I’ll end up in Japan one day?
I don’t know if anyone will actually be reading this anyway, but hey, atleast I introduced myself. :D
Welcome! When did you go to Tokyo? What did you do? Did you take photos? =)
I wanted to do an exchange while studying at uni, but I never simultaneously had the money or the time. Been there for a holiday, though.
Haha, I was there last summer (2014), and of course I took pictures! Mostly it was roaming around Tokyo looking at all the strange and interesting things they had there. Maid Cafes really are something out of this world!
And going there on vacation is probably that spark that ignited my interest in Japan, so yeah.
