    I purchased the Lifetime membership yesterday and created my account on here so that I can re-start my Japanese studies. However, I seem to have a small issue with the website and I cannot tell if it is me, my account, something…

    Let me explain. When it is time for me to come study, I go to http://www.textfugu.com (doesn’t matter what device/browser/network connection) and click the Log in button from the top right. I enter my credentials and click Log in. The page then acts like it is going to load, and then times out with a variety of error messages. Then If I try to go back to http://www.textfugu.com, it times out since my computer already has the cookie for the login credentials and (probably?) tries to direct me to my account homepage I would assume.

    (same issue occurs if I enter http://www.textfugu.com/dashboard)

    Now, if I manually enter the address http://www.textfugu.com/lessons, I can access the lessons page, which also allows me to access the buttons in the top right (Lessons, Kanji, Forum, Profile, Contact). Everything else seems to work okay except for I guess what would be the dashboard.

    Is this an issue anyone else has or is it just me?

    Clear your cookie and cache. Sounds like a corrupt cookie issue.

    I have done that a few times to be sure. That and with trying different browsers, different devices, and different network connections, would eliminate any local issue and leads me to believe that it might be an issue with the site, my account, or some other issue with the connection to the site.

    I was just trying to establish if anyone else might be having the same issue as me as it would help to narrow down if the issue is with the site, new accounts, etc. etc.

    Issue resolved. It ended up being a back end issue with my TextFugu account.
