Hello!

So I have been a member of TextFugu for quite some time (lifetime membership, yay!), but my Japanese studies have been going up and down. But now I just got a big reason to study Japanese…

My name is Christopher, and I’m a Master’s student of Electrical Engineering in Sweden. I just got accepted to the Vulcanus in Japan programme (all you EU members should check it out!), which means I’ll get a scholarship and free living in Japan for a year. It will start with a four month language study programme in Tokyo, and end with an eight month internship at Hitachi in the little town of Hitachi, Ibaraki.

So, my goal is to complete TextFugu in the summer (I’m free for two months) to get a solid foundation before moving to Japan.
