    Hey guys,

    Trying to practice if (たら) and, to fast check if what I’m doing is write, I’m using google translator as I always do. Sadly for me, everything I write is translated to whatever but what I want to say (related to たら). Been trying to translate to english or to spanish (I’m spanish native) but both translations end up horribly. Here are some sentences and what google thinks of ‘em:

    本が面白かったら、読む。 —–> Tara this is interesting, I read.
    車が派手だったら私は買う —–> When was the flashy car I buy

    What am I doing so off?

    And here it goes an other translation i dont understand:

    私は映画を見に行ったら嬉しい。 —-> I’m glad I went to the movies。

    But i was trying to say that i will b happy if i go to watch a movie. Any ideas on what i did wrong here?

    Honestly, Google Translate sucks at Japanese. It’s better than it used to be, but it still struggles on kana-only words. Your sentences are fine.

    Ahp, ok, so I’m going to rely on Lang-8 only for sentences checking and not google checker as I was doing till now and for extreme help will use only this forum. Thnx
