Heya, new member that just registered and is following the website page by page. Interested in developing good self-learning habits and I figure the best way to go about it is with something I have a small familiarity with. Plus lyric translation would be an absolute bonus.
Long time video game / anime / movie / music fan like many and already having Spanish as my 2nd language its only natural to want to have more to communicate with. I’m 23 and know I have a long way to go in this but I feel like I’m in the right community to start really trying.

Thanks Joel! From Fresno, CA to be a bit specific. Its in between L.A. and S.F. Pretty much everybody who goes through this state passes through it at some point.
There is so much great music in Japanese and so much more that has no translation. I’m particularly a big fan of J-punk with groups like Ging Nang Boyz, Kingons, etc. To be able to help share they’re sounds is the only way I can figure to bring justice to what they do for me on my personal high and low points.
Also on Season 1 4-6 and getting this Hiragana down. These courses are awesome!
