I have heard many an anime address females as ちゃん, however I’m not sure whether or not it is, or if it’s さん. I’m probably really close to learning this on TextFugu, however I am curious. This is the first time I’ve been on the forums and I would really appreciate some roadside assistance :D Thanks to everyone who tries to help the new kids who don’t know very much!

My apologies! After I had gone through a couple of pages I found the “Name-Enders Honorifics” page. Thank you to anyone who considered assisting me, however I am no longer in need of it. :,(

ちゃん = younger girls, or reasonably close friends. =)
