    Hello (and happy new year)!

I’m Camille, currently living in London but (not so) secretly hoping to move in Japan and be able to travel on my own to every cat island. And order miso ramen in Sapporo. And okonomiyaki in Osaka. And some inarizushi pretty much everywhere.

Concerning the language learning part, I started a few weeks ago switching between with ‘Genki’ and ‘Take off in Japanese’ but with the new year I decided it was time to slowly start learning Kanji so I subscribed on WaniKani and I saw the new year offer for TextFugu so here I am.

I know it’s going to be long and (sometimes) painful but I’m somehow confident because it will be my third language (I’m a native French speaker and I learned English through similar methods. Thank you Benny Lewis!) and don’t ask me why but the more I look at languages the more I’m passionate about them. (>>> so here my ultimate evil goal: becoming a UX Designer for a language learning company in Tokyo. And eat inarizushi every day.)

I just started 3 days ago but so far I’m in love with TextFugu and WaniKani, I’ve tested a lot (and a loooooot) of digital language learning solutions and I think it’s the first time I come across a solution that complete, combining quality content, a real voice and beautiful & smart design (and lovely puns).

Thank you to the creators! And Hi everyone!

Many thanks for the links! Need to check on the additional resources for more exposure!

About the Kana I stumbled upon a nice web project, it’s not as detailed as the ones listed but it’s good for some extra practise: http://lab.fleon.org/type-kana/ (sorry if you already know it!)
