Yeah someone else had a similar problem before, I don’t know if Helvetica had anything to do with their problem, but they ended up changing their font to MS Gothic.
Tsetycoon! You’ve transformed into a girl! And a cartoon! @_@

I wouldn’t sweat the particles too much as you’ll find many native speakers make a lot of mistakes when it comes to “proper” particle usage. It’s generally not an issue when it comes to comprehension, as long as you have a basic idea of what the particles are for. It’s like lazy English speakers who use bad grammar, you can still understand what they’re saying. And this will become a lot clearer when you are in your immersion stage. You’ll start absorbing it naturally.

That would have been so cool as a child to have one of my parents speak to me in a different language so I could pick it up.
Good job! ^_^

Decided to keep them together with the rest of the vocab, actually. Since in Japanese text katakana will be mixed in, I figure it’s better to train myself to jump between the two than to study in katakana mode. It’s not like the cards take me long individually. It’s just that there’s so many of them :P
Just a note as a TESOL teacher, studying the same way that things happen in the wild isn’t always the best option. It’s often better to isolate certain things during the learning process so your brain doesn’t get confused making your study time less efficient. When you get to the point that you are reading native content as your study rather than using flashcards, it will gel together naturally.
That said, if it’s working for you, go for it.

I would actually suggest the following:
Do them only in WaniKani at first, as they are easier to learn there than they are here using Anki.
This will also save you study time so you can focus more on the other material you are reviewing in Anki.
Once you hit level 6 in WaniKani, add the Kanji decks that are here up to Season 4. Go through them and decide if you want to continue reviewing the Anki ones or just stick to WaniKani.

Once again, check out the link for Japanese resources I posted when you made your introduction thread. Something tells me you didn’t check for responses to it:
Short answer – probably not.
Long answer – check out the thread that I posted a link to when you made your introduction thread:

Make sure to stick them into a separate deck.
That way you can get into katakana mode and it goes quicker.
Ah that’s a good idea!
Thanks for that. ^_^
It sounds like you mean Ultimate Vocab, which is at the beginning of Season 5:
