Why would it be ”hear my voice”? 聞かせる will either be ‘make hear’ (often translated as ‘to inform’) or ‘let hear’. Like Joel said, it is てください, so 声を聞かせて=let me (please) hear (your) voice. Why ‘your’? Context, really.
Another example from the GazettE – 紅蓮
[…]僅かな吐息を聞かせてほしい[…]= I want you to let me hear your few breaths僅[わず]かな=few
吐息[といき]=long breaths, like a sighOr try Remembering the Kanji, ’twas pretty fun. Though it’s not for everybody.
Tokyo, Tokyo? I’m living in this 田舎 called Fuchu, Tokyo
If you’re using Microsoft Word, there’s a button (near where you change the font, font size, etc.) called phonetic guide. Select the word, click phonetic guide, add furigana (if not already added) and hit Ok.
If you’re looking to add furigana in Anki, maybe this will help? https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/3918629684
This thread is quite ded.

January 1, 2013 at 10:23 pm in reply to: The "I found some Japanese I don't understand" thread. #37663That makes sense, thanks guys.
Btw the context was that a shinigami was gonna go take a look at the human world, cuz everyone else was doing it. And so he said 俺もちょっと覗いてこよっと

俺もちょっと覗いてこよっと

Pokemon games are painful because they lack kanji. However since in black/white 2 there is now the option to add kanji, everythings all good :D Even though I hate 5th generation pokemon… it’s still fun.
And Mister, all you have to do is read the move’s description.
Buut if you can’t read what mark wrote, then… I would practice a bit more, looking up the meaning of every single word is… a crappy gaming experience.
October 14, 2012 at 8:11 pm in reply to: How Far Will TextFugu Take Me (In Its Current State)? #36230That is such a great idea, paying for a month or two… I’ll just say as everyone else has said, it won’t take you very far. I guess the only interesting thing after you finish is the forum :P
@Tubatime’s miichan collection

I think they will understand, but if it’s that troublesome wear a name tag that says ジョナサン. but really I think they’ll understand as long as you don’t put an emphasis on san, say it quickly not jonaSAN. It’s a common name and they are bound to have heard it, right?

August 23, 2012 at 10:25 pm in reply to: TextFugu Season Completions for Great Motivation of Heart! #34848If I started RTK before going to school… around July or August…
A year and one month. Sorry had to continue.
btw, as a heads up, even if you do rtk with a real book, you’ll still spend 99% of your time studying kanji… on the computer… and all the notes (stories) you’ll take will be… on the computer… even when you practice writing them you need the computer in front of you, so I think it would be wise to get a pdf version, not because I’m cheap, but because it’s more… efficient. (i’m lazy and poor what can i say…)
just… just trust me.
