Yep, that’s a mistake – it’s いきたい in past tense. “If we want to go see a movie, I want to go to Cineplex” is the correct translation.
Nah, you still need the な, but only when it’s positive and non-past – it disappears when you start conjugating. The な is used to connect な-adjectives to nouns, just as の is used to connect nouns to other nouns.
だった. =)
あんぜんだった くるま
Also, worry not – your question was perfectly clear.
Welcome!
Think you’ll need to upload it somewhere else on the internet and post the link here – I’m not aware of any way of attaching files to forum posts.
Welcome! I’m in Australia too. =)
Where are you going to be living in Japan?
Make a reverse deck – English-to-Japanese.
Welcome! =)
2010, not 2011. =)
But yeah, I actually managed to visit again just last December, finally. Already planning my next trip for April.
Welcome!
Welcome! Congrats that you’re living and working in Japan now. =) I’d kinda like to live in Japan sometime, but I also don’t want to not be at home also…
Where in particular?
Oh indeed, I noticed. =P
Welcome!
I’m in Sydney too. =)
It was a public holiday yesterday, so I had the day off work. =P
That said, not sure exactly which thread you mean, but I do recall one thread where we were writing a post at the same time – I guess when I submitted first, he didn’t see the need to continue his post. =)
TextFugu has never been awesome when it comes to vocab. For example, the particle へ never gets taught – later on, he just starts talking about it as though you already learnt it.
It’s possible those are holdouts from the last time Koichi overhauled the syllabus, though I confess I haven’t checked in a while.
