There is at flashcard system a LingQ, but it is really just a joke. Nobody ever uses it according to the forums there.
I did do the free trial and loved it. I would become a full member but $10 a month is just too much currently, I would prefer a one time payment option. I also like the LingQ forum/community because they all are learning different languages.
The LingQ method looks very successful compared to TF too, although the same is not true for WK which is amazing. It also makes sense to me why it would work. It looks to me as it is the natural approach to learning not the “unconventional” or class ways.
I was looking for someone else on here that is a full member on LingQ, but I don’t think anyone is. I
thinkdemand Koichi get a deal with LingQ as he has done for JapanesePod101 and Gakuu.- This reply was modified 11 years, 2 months ago by Albino Rhino.

My bilingual friends say that English is one of the easiest languages to learn. There are no cases or genders, there are so many resources, and it is spoken by so many people.
"Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses." ~George Washington CarverI agree with others in not becoming a slave to anki.
Flashcards are not natural. To learn a language naturally, you must read and listen. If you’re going to learn Japanese, when will you have time to review 300-500 flashcards? Some flashcards you will never get either which is more time wasting.
I feel that flashcards are great for the earliest beginner to acquire enough vocabulary to read basic sentences. After that, they become a waste of time. You can do 5% of your studies with flashcards, but after that there is no reason when you could read natural Japanese.

"Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses." ~George Washington CarverWell, you should only spend 5% of your time reviewing flashcards. This is because flashcards are not natural, it is artificial. This video explains it more in depth. You should spend more time reading and listening.

"Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses." ~George Washington CarverYou could also you Lingq. Its only $10 a month compared to TF $20. It may feel weird though because it focuses on mass input, i.e. reading and listening several hours a day, but you good great results faster than here. Mostly, because TF is practically a classroom to yourself.

"Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses." ~George Washington CarverNever mind. It is back up and running.
"Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses." ~George Washington CarverI myself, haven’t found much of a difference in Anki 2 of actual features I use. The only difference I like is the improved graphs and stats. I especially don’t like how I must copy all my new Anki files into my old decks because it creates a new deck every time! Another thing I don’t like is the size. If you use Anki with the window maximized then it is quite small.

"Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses." ~George Washington CarverAll the downloads (at least most of them) TextFugu offers are found at this link, http://www.textfugu.com/dl/. I’m not sure what you mean by #3 because there are just called Ultimate Vocab Nouns, Ultimate Vocab Verbs, and Ultimate Vocab Adjectives. By the way there is no bundle like at http://www.tofugu.com/product-category/learning-materials/. Your welcome.

"Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses." ~George Washington CarverI’ve wondered this as well. I don’t think it is four though. I’ve seen sample questions and they’re all in Japanese.

The problem is you WILL get distracting apps that focus your attention elsewhere.
