I had a question about a translation. In a YouTube video series I watch, they always start with some phrase like this:

    おしゃべりあてまーす だいさんほそ は、

I tried google translate, but it said “mars third news” and nothing else… anybody know what this means?? The video link is below.

Not quite sure if this goes here, but just a quick question for those who are leaning kanji.
I’ve tried studying kanji from here and I’ve read a book on it. It seems to me like the method taught here should be the best way for me to learn kanji. However, I can’t understand the radicals very well, and I forget the actual radical meaning but I remember the stories for them…I ended up learning the grade one Kanji’s from a chart I printed out for myself at home and studying them from there line by line. I don’t think this is a great way to be learning them. What suggestions do you have for a method of learning them? How did you learn kanji, also?

The way I learned “ne” is by looking at the parts of it as numbers. There is a one (the line) a two, (the loop) but, NE, no three. Thinking of it this way also helped me t remember the pronunciation. Oddly enough, when I learned this mnemonic, I could see a three anyways, and it still helped me remember.
