The thread is averted. I have cancelled my subscription before the month ended. When something is too good to be true, it isn’t. Why didn’t I think about that? Anyway.
I think I fell in the trap too but I’m not sure. I payed the one dollar.
Can anyone tell me where I can see whether I’m signed up for the monthly subscription or not? And can anyone tell me where to cancel it, as I should be able to at any time?I use onenote. It’s the only program I know.
Is Koichi also going to rewrite the PDF tests? It seems like the answers from 9 in http://www.textfugu.com/downloads/worksheets/2-4-6-possessive.pdf doesn’t fits together with the questions.
Do you use lang-8? I think that is useful no matter your level.
Here Koichi explains how to install the keyboard:

ようこそ
I’ve been here since April but I haven’t introduced myself yet.
Yea, google translate doesn’t work proper for Japanese.Sounds like The Hump is the thing I experienced when I learned to program. I don’t think you are irresponsible. I would just make sure you didn’t forget the importance of responsibility. If it was The Dip you were colliding it would be more relevant.
I feel I’m sink deeper and deeper into The Dip for each day I study at the moment, actually.
My three suggestions are still relevant for you I think.ようこそ
So you’ve been studying for three years without stopping. That proves that you have the desire to learn more. Koichi will tell you how should get rid of the dip but he’ll not do it for you. Don’t forget that the responsibility is your’s.
If you don’t know what to do to improve I have three suggestions for you.1) Find a grammatical topic in e.g. textFugu (or imabi.net or guidetojapanese.org) which you don’t know and then study it.
2) Just communicate with some native Japanese people. Talking or chatting but I think talking will give you the best practice.
3) Vocabulary. You can always increase your vocabulary. I think a large vocabulary will make the whole learning process easier. With textfugu you have a 50% discount on WaniKani btw.that’s one of the first things Koichi asks you to do :D
Yea that’s right. I didn’t really remember whether I did it because Koichi told me to or it was something I read somewhere else.
I would like to tell you all how I memorize every word in Japanese.
I use a method called “memo” which is described by a former Norwegian world champion in memorization (a competition in memorization for people with totally average brains). You can read about it in the book called “Memo: The Easiest Way to Improve Your Memory“.
Some people says that the mnemonics don’t work for them but I think they just don’t know how to use them. The method uses mnemonics and a way to join them together with things you already have stored in your long term memory. Mnemonics alone are only in your short term memory in the beginning.
I’m not sure whether you want me to explain more or not so I’ll cut it here. I’m not going to explaing how the whole technique works, mainly because it’s the authors livelihood, but also because I don’t want to explain a whole book here.
I can just tell you it that it works.Hej Mads.
Fedt at se, at der så småt kommer flere danskere hertil.

I don’t remember exactly why I began Japanese neither. I suggest you to make a list of good reasons to learn Japanese, as I did. You’ll need it when you reach the dip. Don’t let the dip scare you. Koichi (the awesome author of TF) will explain what it is to you when you’ve get to the point. So we aren’t that few I see.
I’m not sure whether this is an error but here it is…
その他 is in the anki deck and the reading is そのた. According to jisho.com, そのた isn’t listed as a common reading but そのほか is. So shouldn’t the latter be the reading in the deck?
Cool, it sounds like all around you know Japanese (or at least three). I know no one around me who do.
Thank you. It is not a major issue for me, since I improve my English while I study Japanese. -
